This system is a dedicated device for conducting triaxial tests on unsaturated soil. It simulates the mechanical behavior of unsaturated soil under various stress conditions, including multiple test modes such as CD (Consolidated Drained Test), CU (Consolidated Undrained Test), and UU (Unconsolidated Undrained Test), as well as complex loading conditions including isotropic consolidation, K₀ consolidation, and stress path tests. These test modes fully characterize the mechanical properties of unsaturated soil under diverse stress states, providing in-depth insights into soil behavior.

The system integrates an advanced full-surface deformation digital image measurement system. Adopting non-contact measurement technology, it accurately captures the full-field strain and crack development of unsaturated soil specimens during testing.

  • Drainage measurement: High-precision electronic balance, accuracy: 0.001 g, resolution: 0.001 g; equipped with evaporation compensation device for automatic evaporation correction.

  • Pressure chamber material: 304 stainless steel with internal lighting; observation window diameter ≥ 125 mm; automatic remote cloud data post-processing.

  • Control functions: Automatic control of loading ram displacement, loading rate, confining pressure regulation, and pressure chamber water filling/draining.

  • Standard saturated soil triaxial testing: UU, CU and CD standard triaxial tests.

  • Saturated soil stress path testing: S-T and P-Q standard stress path tests, as well as user-defined stress path tests.

  • Saturated soil K₀ consolidation testing.

  • Advanced loading functions: Load control, low-frequency cyclic loading, and user-defined stress path tests.

  • Unsaturated soil triaxial testing: Isotropic compression tests with constant matric suction, consolidated drained shear tests, and suction increase tests.

  • Post-processing software functions: Data import, validity verification, error correction, outlier identification, deformation calculation, strain calculation, data export, and curve plotting.

  • Test result output: Full strain data output during testing; supports time-history curves and full-field spatial analysis matched with specimen morphology.
